Artwork Specifications

You can supply us with print-ready files by ensuring that your files meet these following Artwork Specifications.  

For decal and sticker files to be print-ready, we require the following Artwork Specifications:

  1. Artwork should be in vector format wherever possible.  You must embed or supply all images. PNG’s should have a transparent background.
  2. Convert fonts into outlines.
  3. Flatten transparencies.
  4. Setup files to 100% scale.
  5. All files need to have 3 layers:
  • Top layer should contain a cut line using a stroke colour named “CutContour” at 100% Magenta.
  • Mid layer should contain the artwork.
  • Bottom layer should contain the artwork with a 3mm bleed added.
  1. Intricate designs must have a minimum width of 6mm at any point.
  2. Maximum file size is 500MB.
  3. Remove all non-printing items (such as registration marks, keylines, crop marks etc.).
  4. Save files in CMYK PDF format (default illustrator PDF profile when saving as a PDF from Illustrator is acceptable).
  5. Recommended minimum print resolution is 150DPI.
  6. Split artwork wider than 1290mm into seperate PDF files.

  5. Maximum file size is 500MB.
  6. Remove all non-printing items (such as registration marks, keylines, crop marks etc.).
  7. Save files in CMYK PDF format (default illustrator PDF profile when saving as a PDF from Illustrator is acceptable).
  8. Recommended minimum print resolution is 150DPI.
  9. For wallpapers wider than 1306mm, artwork must be set up to 1300mm with a 6mm bleed so when cut to 1300mm the two sheets will match up correctly. The artwork must be split into separate PDF files.
